Dad in Tights Dances to Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’ With His Daughters in Hilarious Video
He donned tights and black leotards while dancing and lip-syncing to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”.
When Christmas comes, presents are not the only thing children look forward to. Family reunions during the holidays are something many people look forward to—with children hoping to win games set by the adults.
Not only do these games set the mood, but they also become good memories and great stories to tell the future generation. One dad became an overnight internet sensation after he danced with his daughters during a Christmas celebration with their family. Apparently, the competition is an annual tradition within the family, and Steve Haddad, from Michigan, US, decided to compete alongside his daughters.
Steve managed to dance with his daughters, who danced along to Beyonce’s hit song “Single Ladies” while they wore black leotards and tights. The trio also lip-synced to the popular song as relatives were heard laughing in the background. The trio have become an internet sensation as the hilarious video has been viewed more than 14 million times online since mum Tina Spadaro Haddad put it on Facebook.
Alongside the video, she wrote: “You asked you received… Haddad Lip Sync contest. Stay back girls he’s all mine!! #BESTDAD #Beyoncé #allthesingleladies #christmaslipsync.”
Tina said: “The girls were trying to come up with a brilliant idea to beat the competition – which in this family is tough.
“I threw out the Beyoncé single ladies video. The girls BEGGED him and because he loves to make us laugh, through much nagging on our part he agreed.”
She added: “I’ve NEVER posted videos or photos of my kids public.
“I only did it so the family could share it with their friends. [I’m] overwhelmed. I’ve received so many positive messages from people who have had hard knocks and said thank you for the two minutes of laughter.”
