Get Rid Of Fruit Flies In Your Kitchen With These Easy Tricks
If you love having a bowl of fruit on your kitchen counter, then you’re probably no stranger to pesky little fruit flies.
They buzz around your fruit (and whatever else they can find.) Your kitchen can be spotless, but those pests will still find a way to get in.
These tiny insects can fit through almost anything, and can detect fruit from miles away. That’s why even the cleanest kitchens sometimes struggle with a fruit fly problem.
Isn’t there an easy way to get rid of them!?
Well I’m glad you asked!
Here are some easy tips for getting rid of fruit flies in your kitchen.
Opening a bottle of unfiltered apple cider vinegar and putting a piece of plastic wrap over the top with a small opening will do the trick! The flies are attracted to the smell of the vinegar, but when they go through the opening they can’t get back out!

2. Roast Lemons
Cut two lemons or other fruits in half and put them in your oven. Keep the door open for a few hours (with the oven off) and then shut the door. Crank the oven to broil for a bit. Turn off the heat, toss the fruit out, and wipe the bottom of your oven. Gone!
3. Prevent Them All Together
Preventing fruit flies is the best way to keep them out of the kitchen! Here’s how to do that:
Refrigerating vegetables at the first sign of flies
Clean recycling bins regularly
Clean garbage cans regularly
Wipe down the stove and counter tops nightly to remove any spills and scents that could attract flies
And there you have it! Fruit flies won’t bother you anymore!
