Wrapping Presents Is Tricky – Here’s The Best Way To Do It, So It’s Perfect Every Time
Christmas is here! You know what that means? Lots of wrapping! The first half of your Christmas to-do list was buying presents for the people you love, but now comes the hard part. You have to wrap every single present, and you probably want it to look as good as possible.
Wrapping presents can be a tricky task. Luckily, there are experts who can help. BeatTheBush posted a quick, easy to follow how-to video that takes all the stress out of wrapping your Christmas gifts! Well, the rectangular ones, anyway.
The page administrator was inspired to post this video after watching the speed-wrapping skills of a store employee. “There was this really quick department store worker. . . [who] basically wrapped the present in this diagonal weird way in less than 30 seconds,” he explains.
To many of us, a 30 second wrapping job sounds too good to be true! Getting the paper to stay in alignment is always a struggle. On top of that, if your paper isn’t properly measured, you might leave part of the present exposed! This quick fix still requires attention to detail, but it is much easier than your alternative Christmas gift-wrapping techniques.
The first step is to make sure that your piece of wrapping paper is actually big enough to wrap the whole present. If part of the gift is sticking out, the purpose of the paper is defeated. Make sure that the paper wraps around and overlaps by two inches on the backside of the gift. “On each side [the paper] is about up the length of the whole present.”
